Miss Whiney

Natalie and Mom are enjoying Spring Break. But the little one was a little pooper today, throwing a few tantrums to let her mom know who's boss.

On the lookout

Natalie was keeping track of the neighborhood today. And that's a good thing, because there's some crazy ladies out there!

The lost tapes

Okay, so I put the entire tape on the computer today and there was this clip from the day after Christmas. (That's why the living room looks like that, all our loot is all over the place!) I almost peed my pants I thought it was so funny. It's old, but it's too funny to not put on here.
For a real time update, she's starting to walk. She'll take about 6 or 7 steps before laughing so hard she falls over. But of course, when we take the camera out, she stops performing. So hopefully we'll get that up and running soon.

The Reader

Well mom is cooking up another good dinner so Natalie said we should post a blog...

The girls spent some quality time reading top-notch journalism this afternoon. In fact, Natalie was so inspired by In-Touch that she did some writing of her own -- mostly on a pad of paper, but a little on the kitchen chairs too! She is about 10 times better than she was yesterday, so Grandma must have taken good care of her today.

Mom and Natalie get to sleep in a bit tomorrow, which is good since Mom then has a long night of conferences followed by a root canal Wednesday -- NO FUN!

Are you kidding?

Natalie has yet another ear infection. We took her to urgent care last night and it's back. Grandma Lee took the day off to be with Noods today so I didn't have to call in for a sub. So she's chillin' with grandma and trying to feel better.

YEAH Evelyn!

So last night was the first time we've babysat Evelyn without Emilia since Ev was about three months old. Emilia had a big night at Spanish Immersion Orientation and stunned everyone with her knowledge of Spanish. (Most kids knew Hola, she knew bufanda = scarf.) Anyway, Evelyn was a little shell-shocked when she got here and stood there staring at us for a solid 10 minutes. As soon as I started to read her books, she opened up. By the end of her time with us, she was her normal crazy self bouncing up and down on my fitness ball. She's so funny! I can't wait to spend more time with her this summer, she's FEARLESS! Natalie thought it was so funny that Ev was "chasing" her around the basement crawling. We love you Ev!

Giggling Girls

Natalie and Mom are enjoying a late breakfast and I'm hearing lots of giggles coming from the kitchen, so I'm sure someone's acting silly (probably Mom!).

Yesterday my two girls were trapped in the basement most of the day while a few professional craftsmen worked on tiling the bathroom -- wow, looks like we hired some quality professionals!
