Infection

Just an update: It looks like Natalie has a urinary tract infection, which would explain the persistent fevers. She has some medicine to fix the infection, and will go back in a couple of weeks to make sure it's all gone.

Mom is at a shower tonight so I got to chill 1-on-1 with Natalie for a bit. She's in bed now but let me take some photos beforehand.

Happy Easter !!!

Natalie has been busy this morning, hunting down her easter egg and presents and hosting Granma Lee and Grandpa Kent for pancakes. That's an impressive feat, especially after opting against sleep last night. Hopefully we don't "hit the wall" this afternoon at Grandma C&L's -- let's keep our fingers crossed!

Natalie back to normal!

Just an update for our millions of readers: Natalie's strep test was negative. And apparently "negative" is a good thing when it comes to a test like this (just ask Michael Scott). Natalie was at full speed by about mid-day yesterday and today she even did a little walking on her own (even though it still seems to scare the crap out of her).

Miserable

Noodle is home sick with mommy today. She's been sleeping most of the day. She woke up at 9, had a little breakfast and went back to bed until noon. We went to the doctor because she's had a fever since 10 p.m. and it won't break. Doc said it could be strep (rapid test came back negative, but he won't rule it out until the culture test results come back tomorrow.) If it's not strep, he thinks it's just a virus that she caught. She fell asleep about 15 seconds into our ride home. Poor little girl, she's miserable. Daddy's staying home with her tomorrow and then Joe and I will fight over who gets to stay home with her on Friday. =) We'll keep you posted on our little patient.

Pics...

The camera decided to work today so here's a few shots as we all prepare for the Dome's Swan Song! The Twins open against Seattle in about 5 minutes, so here's a big "Suck It" to all those loser Mariners fans out there!

Update

Our camera is on the fritz. So eventhough Natalie's been super cute lately, the pics haven't shown up right. They're messed up and we're thinking a new camera is in order. But she loves the new bathroom, all finished. It's beautiful! We've taken pics, but like I said, it doesn't work. You'll have to stop by and see it in person.
Other than that, nothing new in the Gustafson household. We're getting excited for summer and hopefully I'll find a job so it can be a stress-free one!
