Judy's Cabin 2010
Henry's becoming quite the traveler! Joey and I packed up the kids and headed to Judy's Cabin on Sunday for four days of sun, food, screaching children, and the best beach in MN. Henry did great, sleeping both on the trip up and the trip home. Natalie was entertained by grandpa Kent's portable DVD player that we tied to the back of Joey's seat. While there, Natalie, Emilia and Evelyn barely stopped to breathe, running from one activity to the next. Henry slept most of the time, allowing me to have some great beach time, and baby Charlie is itching to start crawling. Linda, Karin and I went into Pequot Lakes on Monday night for bingo, and we all left winners. I won $45, Karin and Linda also won some cash -- in fact all the ladies at our table won a game. It was pretty fun! We don't know how many more years we have to spend a week at Judy's, but we're thankful for the time we have! It's beautiful! These pics are from our little point and shoot -- as soon as I get copies of Alana's fancy camera work, I'll post more pics!

5 weeks
It's been a while since we wrote, but we're plugging away! Natalie's keeping us busy, riding her bike, giving her baby a walk, going in the pool, to the splash pad, to the wading pool, reading books, it doesn't end! She's also starting to embrace her role as big sister. And since Henry's getting so big, I'm not nearly as nervous with her climbing up on the couch to talk to him and try to get him to smile. He had one shining moment of smiles today, but I can't get it with the camera yet. Soon I'm sure he'll be smiling and giggling a lot! Natalie's also doing her best with potty training -- we have more accidents than successes right now, but she's learning pretty quick! I can't wait until I have only one in diapers!

Whiz Bang Days Parade
Natalie had a blast at the Whiz Bang Days parade this afternoon. At first she was distracted by the snack we brought (popcorn), but soon enough she showcased her candy-gathering prowess. Mom and Henry enjoyed the events too, relaxing a few rows back in the shade. According to Big Sis, the best parts of the parade were the motorcycles and the funny boats (a.k.a. the Shriners car/boats). Natalie also reports that Mom's favorite were the drums, Dad liked the firetrucks and the Henry probably liked the clowns. Good times!

Happy 7th of July!!!
I know we're a little late, but had to post some photos from the July 4th weekend at the cabin. Natalie did some fishing with Grandma Linda and was impressed by the sparklers that Grandpa Craig put on display. This was all after attending the big Independence Day Weekend races/events (which included a cool 4-wheeler train ride). Other than that, Sarah spent plenty of time with Henry (though we were able to get out on the boat a little!) Good weather and good (amateur) fireworks shows by the residents of Camp Lake -- the first of many for Hank!
