Mr. Mom

Natalie and myself have been sans Mom all weekend long. We've tried to keep busy, and did so in part by visiting Target Field yesterday. Though Natalie was only moderately impressed by the stadium and its amenities, she gave 4 Stars to the popcorn.

Looking forward to having Mom back today and Natalie is excited to get her all week for spring break!

New stuff

Pretty sweet day already, with a new chest freezer and a sweet new wagon! Natalie is resting up now for her first trip of the year to the park -- can't wait!

Still on track

Mom and baby are each doing great. 22 weeks and 1 day today, and the ultra-sound confirmed we are right on schedule (still due on July 4th). Though I couldn't convince Sarah to find out the sex, everything checked out normal/great!!!

Natalie is very excited about the pictures, as you can see above. She also is excited to type, so I'll let her close this one out:

Random Tuesday Post

The other day Sarah said "We should blog more often," and I concur, so here's a random Tuesday evening post...

It's a busy week for us, filled with random events every night (friend dates, after-school classes, Gophers hoops, ECFE). But Natalie has been so much fun lately and---- oh, sorry, I was just interrupted by a call from Amber ("What's up, Amber?!). So where was I? Oh yeah, Natalie has been lots of fun lately, perfecting her 1-to-10 counting, her sorta ABCs and a medley of random songs (Twinkle Star, Little Lamb & Row-Row, to name a few).

Hope your week is as fun (if not as busy) as ours!

Snow and more snow

There's really no updating to do lately, as all we're doing is dealing with the tons of snow that falls every week. Natalie did get to play in it over the weekend though, and daddy bought her a little shovel for her very own to help him when the time comes. The 6 inches we got today was too much however. Last week, we were jonesin' for some burgers, so Joey shoveled a path to the grill. I don't know if it was the burger, or the fact that we haven't grilled since October, but it was GOOD! This weekend I'll be sure to get some pics of Natalie shoveling, or doing something else entirely cute!

Sledding fun!

We spent the long weekend up at the cabin with grandma Linda and grandpa Craig. We had beautiful weather, which allowed us to teach Natalie about sledding and snow angels! At first she was a little skeptical, but she was a pro, sledding down the hill by herself by the end of the weekend. It was a nice relaxing time of books, puzzles, sledding and of course ... eating!
